Executive systems advisory for institutions and the leaders building them

Forged in island systems.
Proven where execution is hardest.

RDM Advisory helps leaders move their institutions from reality to durable capability — and then hands the system back, so the institution runs it without us.

The RDM Triad Ring

Why the practice exists

Institutions rarely fail for lack of strategy. They fail in the space between intention and institutionalization.

A strategic plan may exist without clear ownership. A technology platform may be implemented without redesigning the processes or preparing the people who must use it. A capital project may have a budget and schedule but lack a functioning authority structure. A transformation may generate momentum without building the capability required to sustain the result.

The problem is not simply strategy. It is the organization's ability to move from understanding its condition to making responsible choices, taking coordinated action, learning from performance, and embedding the capability to continue.

The RDM Strategic Execution Architecture exists to close that gap.

Who we serve

Institutions and the leaders building them.

The Architecture is not specific to one sector. It applies wherever people, process, and technology must be made to work as one system — and wherever the person responsible cannot afford to learn by failure.

Public agencies and authorities

Departments, commissions, boards, and semi-autonomous authorities accountable to the public and to federal partners.

Private-sector organizations

Companies, family enterprises, and professional practices whose owners need an operating system the business can run without them.

Nonprofits and mission-driven organizations

Boards and executive directors carrying public expectations on private resources.

Health systems and facilities

Hospitals, clinics, and practices — established, or being founded — where the operating system should be designed before the first patient, not after the first survey.

Capital programs and developers

Owners, developers, and public-private partnerships delivering programs under federal, territorial, and lender scrutiny.

Organizations doing business in the territory

Firms entering or operating in the U.S. Virgin Islands and the wider Caribbean, where execution has less margin and relationships matter.

Whether the institution has stood for a century or exists so far as a license application and a lease, the questions are the same: who decides, who is accountable, how the organization moves, and what must be true for it to endure.

The Architecture at a glance

Five questions. One coherent system.

Where does the work live?

People. Process. Technology.

Three organizational domains — interconnected, not isolated pillars.

What informs, protects, and sustains it?

Data. Governance. Culture.

Data informs decisions. Governance protects integrity. Culture determines whether change takes root.

What sits at the center?

Data-Informed, People-Driven Decision-Making.

Evidence informs the choice; people bring context, judgment, and responsibility.

How does the organization move?

Through SXOS™.

The Strategic Execution Operating System: Diagnose Reality → Stabilize Risk → Align Authority → Execute with Cadence → Sustain Capability.

What is the outcome?

Durable Institutional Capability.

The ability to perform, adapt, improve, recover, and sustain results without dependence on extraordinary effort or temporary external intervention.

Ways in

Seven ways in. One discipline.

From a single Clarity Session to a full operating-system build to standing counsel after the work is done. Fixed-fee wherever possible. Every engagement begins with diagnosis and ends with a named internal owner running the system.

The easy first step

Executive Systems Clarity Session

One working session and a written brief that names the real decision, the binding constraint, and the next step.

Thirty days

Strategic Systems Diagnostic

A scored, defensible picture of where the institution actually stands, with a prioritized risk register and decision roadmap.

Ninety days

Executive Stabilization Sprint

Steady a system under strain, install the missing decision and accountability structures, and hand it back running.

Three to six months

Operating System Design & Build

The full executive operating system — decision rights, governance cadences, accountability, risk, institutional memory — designed, installed, transferred.

Ongoing, deliberately bounded

Retained Executive Advisory

Standing counsel without standing reliance: principal counsel plus a quarterly governance review.

Half-day to multi-day

Board & Governance Workshops

A facilitated decision your board can act on, and a transfer playbook to keep it.

Built from inside the systems it advises

Three decades inside the institutions we now advise.

Leading public health systems, rebuilding institutional capacity after major disasters, governing capital programs under federal compliance, and modernizing the data and decision systems beneath them. The judgment in every engagement was built from the inside.
